Meisa Kuroki says she enjoys playing a special investigator in her new TV Asahi drama, Jiu, that airs Friday nights from 11:15pm. Kuroki plays a fierce, physically capable investigator with a strong battle instinct, who is teamed with a more intellectual, kind-hearted and naïve character (played by Mikako Tabe). The two of them join forces to track down Jiu, the ringleader responsible for a series of brutal crimes. Kuroki said: “I’m an active person and I like physical scenes. I didn’t find it stressful at all.”
