For British passport applicants
For good British gentlemen and ladies keen on getting a new passport for those spicily uniformed minxes to stamp at the airport, take good notice of this news, straight from the Embassy’s horse’s mouth. (Yes, they have a horse.) From August 18, you can still apply to Hong Kong’s Regional Passport Processing Centre, but it will be printed in the UK. That means you’ll have to pay extra courier charges. Apparently, passport processing is moving back to the Green and Pleasant Land. Or, wait until it’s three days before your flight, realize your passport has expired, and then piss away all your holiday money in a dank Roppongi basement bar drinking highballs with a transvestite called Bernard.
