Saskatchewan lycanthropic filmmaking at its finest

In a Canadian town where they host an annual “Drink ‘n’ Shoot” hunting festival and pets have been disappearing, a bumbling, alcoholic police sergeant unsubtly named Lou Garou (Leo Fafard) realizes that after a night at the Tooth and Nail tavern, he has become a werewolf. The pentagram carved into his chest was a hint.

He decides to stay on the job, what with his heightened senses and a snout for crime, and dispatches criminals with animal abandon. But the people who changed him have their own plans.

It’s impossible to dislike a film like this. Saskatchewan lycanthropic filmmaking at its very finest. (79 min)
