Where do J-pop idols like Amie Namuro and SMAP get their hip-hop moves? Dancer and choreographer Tetsuharu (right) has worked with Japan’s biggest stars, in addition to ballet and off-Broadway productions. He now steps out from his day job to present a series of dance nights at Roppongi’s hippest performance venue. On the bill is a diverse collection of fresh Japanese talents, including prize-winning street dancer Yoshie of the Be Bop Crew, the impossibly lithe breakdancer Tatsuo, ballet luminary Shingo Yoshimoto and house dancer Hiro.
