Chins will be stroked when experimental electronic music giants Ryoji Ikeda and Carsten Nicolai align poles for a rare performance by their Cyclo project. The show comes as part of a tour for artists on Nicolai’s vaunted Raster-Noton label and will also feature live sets by cohorts Byetone (right) and Nibo, with the foot-tapping provided by veteran techno DJ Wada. Forming at the beginning of the decade, Cyclo create algorithm-based music accompanied by trippy digital visuals that makes trendy minimal techno seem quaint in comparison.
