Alexander Rodchenko isn’t exactly a household name—yet his influence is all around us. The Russian artist, photographer and graphic designer’s bold Constructivist creations continue to influence art and commercial design to this day. Coming of age amid the Russian Revolution, Rodchenko made propagandistic works that reflected the social engagement required of artists of the era, but were nevertheless masterpieces of design and photomontage. This show offers an extensive look at his career through 160 prints, posters, collages and photographs.
