The organizers of Roppongi Art Night haven’t forgotten that families might want to spend some time together exploring the various art exhibits, installations and performances. Community-minded director Katsuhiko Hibino’s opening parade welcomes art lovers of all ages. At Roppongi Hills there will be walks around the Mohri Garden Pond (colorfully dyed for the occasion), stargazing on top of the Mori Tower and a children’s exhibition at the Mori Arts Center Gallery, while the Mori Art Museum will have a kids’ tour on Sunday. The Suntory Museum offers an interactive light and shadow workshop along with a “Gulliver Scope,” and Tokyo Midtown gives families the chance to create some of their own art on a special canvas mural.
