Following up on a planned April engagement that was delayed by the quake, veteran Japanese drum and bass DJ Aki hosts two European heavyweights at his decade-old O6S party. Aki witnessed Englishman Shimon and Austrian Disazt (his mother thought his music was a disaster) performing back to back on the Audioporn stage at Austria’s 2010 Beatpatrol electronic music festival and issued an invitation to them on the spot. Sounds will run to the harder, dirtier side of drum and bass for which the Austrian scene centering around Vienna is known.
