Fish meets art exhibition in the third edition of Roppongi Hill’s kitschy “Sky Aquarium.” The event transforms the 250-meter high Tokyo City View observation deck into an aquarium, giving visitors the strange pleasure of views of the Sky Tree and Tokyo Tower through a foreground of colorful tropical fish. This year’s “Sky Aquarium” includes such installations as a “Four Seasons Aquarium,” in which typical seasonal views of Japan are projected onto the fish in 3D using a technology known as “projection mapping.”
