Tokyo gets a taste of Berlin’s cutting-edge techno and decadent nightlife when two stars of the city’s cavernous Berghain club stop in for what promises to be another very long night in Nishi-Azabu. Representing this time round are Berghain residents and Ostgut-Ton imprint stablemates Marcel Fengler and Norman Nodge. Fengler’s take on dance music is among the darkest and most foreboding around, while Nodge—a lawyer by day—releases his angst in the form of industrial-size slabs of techno.
