Add the following code before the first paragraph of the review. This will display the sidebar with movie details: This documentary is not on the history or the future of surfing, but concentrates on the state of this most elemental of sports in the here and now (see title). It covers a lot of ground and was filmed in several global surfing hotspots. The doc is even quite instructional in places and, refreshingly enough, features a few champion girl wavesliders as well. It’s amateurishly narrated, however, and spoiled by some incredibly lame attempts at humor. But with surfing footage this gorgeous, who cares? Call it an answered prayer for surf bar proprietors looking for some new background video. Pretty good music.
