“The Maestro” of New York house returns to Tokyo to roil the dance floor of new Shibuya superclub Vision with one of his legendary marathon sets. The Trinidad-born New York producer is known as the impresario behind New York’s legendary Shelter parties, which have provided a unique Sunday afternoon gathering for the house music faithful for two decades now. Shelter has also been something of a pilgrimage for Japanese DJs—Regisford’s influence can be heard in the work of producers from Jazztronik to Tomoyuki Yasuda, the latter of whom will be accompanying him at Vision.
