Commission your artwork by the square inch when American conceptual artist LG Williams tapes his blank rectangle to the wall at unconventional art space The Container. With “Anything But,” Williams playfully questions the values of the contemporary art market. The nomadic Californian plies his trade the world over, creating ironic installations for venues like the Gallery Subversive, teaching art and appearing in magazines such as Artforum. The Container is exactly what its name implies—a shipping container that has been reinvented as an exhibition space.
