Gold Salon
Azabu-Juban – Hair
It’s often said that Tokyo has more hair salons per square mile than any other city on earth. With so many choices, some key points should be considered before entrusting your locks to a new salon or stylist: communication, experience, skill, technique and most importantly—taste. Located one minute from Azabu-Juban station, Gold is a 100 percent foreign owned salon and 98 percent of its clients are foreigners. All of the stylists are able to communicate in English. They have also spent years developing their skills working with a wide variety of hair types both in Japan and abroad. They have techniques for coloring styles that range from natural looking blonde highlights and warmer tones in brunette hair to platinum blonde and traffic stopping red. And when it comes to taste, the Gold team exude a modern sensibility while maintaining a friendly approach with all clients. The latest addition to the team is Aya, an English-speaking nail artist with over 13 years experience.
