The Japan Performing Arts Foundation became a home away from home for French choreographer Maurice Bejart, and has worked to preserve his legacy since his death in 2007. Works to be presented include the choreographer’s last and unfinished piece, Around the World in 80 Minutes, a “magical” journey around the globe viewed through the eyes of a young traveler and set to the music of Strauss, Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Manos Chatzidakis and others.
