Rock juggernaut back in town

Post-breakup Chris Martin brings his rock juggernaut back to town for what’s being billed as an intimate club night. Of course, the 2,000-seat Tokyo Dome City Hall can only be considered “cozy” when you’ve headlined Fuji Rock and Summer Sonic and are usually booked into the likes of Saitama Super Arena. Coldplay have been touring the world presenting songs from their newly released Ghost Stories, an album that charts the course of Martin’s “conscious decoupling” from you-know-who (…um, that’s Gwyneth Paltrow just in case you didn’t). Coldplay shows have the power to draw the audience in and take them on an adventure in an alternative universe. Bring a hankie and prepare to sing along.

Jun 12, Tokyo Dome City Hall. See concert listings (popular) for details.
