Ethno-electronica label Dakini Records celebrates ten years of its signature performance series by returning to its old haunt at Aoyama Cay with an all-star lineup of musicians, DJs and dancers. Founder Makyo has reformed as a live act for the first time in a decade, and will play “Hindustani dub” featuring instruments like the santoor, hammer dulcimer, tabla, rebab and saz; “mystical dancer” Hayati will also appear. The bill is rounded out by Middle Eastern percussion unit Sag Chana, ambient electronic-Arabic fusion group Amamania, and a cohort of belly dancers, including tribal fusion goddesses E-chan, Milla (pictured) and Mongolian dancer Yulduz. Incense provided.
