Cult film director David Lynch (Blue Velvet , etc.) is putting his personal imprimatur on a new exhibition debuting at the trendy Laforet museum in Harajuku. “David Lynch: Violence and Stillness” presents over 70 paintings, drawings and photographs that reflect the mercurial polymath’s darkly surrealistic worldview. To provide a properly atmospheric viewing environment, the museum will be specially configured into a labyrinthine exhibition space.
