A program that sees Japan’s leading virtuosos perform the works of baroque master J. S. Bach continues this winter with concerts by violinist Ryo Terakado and pianist Michie Koyama. Born in Bolivia, Terakado is a longtime baroque specialist, having founded the group Tokyo Baroque and performed regularly with orchestras worldwide. Michie Koyama is one of Japan’s best-known classical musicians, joining prestigious overseas orchestras like the Royal Philharmonic in interpreting works from the baroque to the modern.
