English-Friendly Aesthetic Clinics in Tokyo
Where to get Botox, fillers, HIFU and skin boosters in Tokyo, with doctors who consult in English
Tokyo has aesthetic clinics on almost every major shopping street, from small private practices to large chains with branches across the city. For international residents and visitors, the harder part is finding one where concerns, medical history and expectations can be discussed clearly in English. That matters more for an injection or a laser treatment than it does for a facial.
This guide covers clinics offering non-surgical and minimally invasive treatments such as HIFU, radiofrequency (RF) skin tightening, Botox, fillers and skin boosters, all with English support during consultations. Most cosmetic procedures in Japan fall under jiyu shinryo (self-pay medical care not covered by national health insurance), so prices differ from clinic to clinic. A first consultation is a good time to go over costs, downtime and possible side effects before deciding on treatment.

Art Lounge Clinic
Art Lounge Clinic opened in 2022 in Azabudai, a short walk from Roppongi. The space also works as a small gallery, with rotating artwork displayed throughout reception and the private treatment rooms. Clinic director Dr. Yoko Nakano consults in English herself, so patients can describe concerns such as volume loss or sagging directly to the physician performing the procedure. About 35% of the clinic’s patients are international.
Nakano trained and worked in anesthesiology at Dokkyo Medical University and Iwate Medical University before moving into aesthetic medicine. She also studied at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine as an exchange student. That background shows in her anatomy-first approach. Instead of giving every face the same number of HIFU shots, she looks at skin quality, volume and laxity to decide which layers to target and which areas to leave alone. The aim is to avoid the hollowed look that overly aggressive HIFU can cause.

The clinic is best known for customized lifting with New Doublo, a device that combines HIFU and RF to reach both deeper and more superficial layers. Hydro Phase RF tightening is another popular option with minimal downtime. The wider menu includes Botox, hyaluronic acid fillers, skin boosters such as Jalupro, Juvelook and Pluryal, thread lifts, Potenza, pico laser, IV therapy and medical permanent makeup. Visits are strictly by appointment. Same-day treatment after a consultation is often possible, so visitors with limited time in Tokyo should reserve in advance.
A first consultation costs ¥3,300. Full-face New Doublo plans range from ¥96,000 to ¥199,600, a first Hydro Phase RF session is ¥88,000, and Botox starts from ¥22,000. Patients who communicate in English pay the same standard rates as Japanese-speaking patients. A separate rate applies only when interpretation into another language is needed. HIFU and RF may cause temporary redness, warmth or mild swelling, and fillers can leave some bruising.

Omotesando Rejuva Medical Clinic
Omotesando Rejuva Medical Clinic is a private, appointment-only practice in Minami-Aoyama. Dr. Rena Hirata opened it in 2020. Hirata is a bilingual aesthetic physician with more than a decade of experience, and she leads English consultations herself. Patients can explain their concerns and goals to the treating doctor directly, without an interpreter. Two other doctors on staff also speak English.
Hirata starts each plan by assessing the skin, fat, muscle and underlying structure of the face. The plan may combine energy-based devices, injectables, skin boosters and regenerative treatments. The clinic is registered to provide regenerative medicine under Japan’s Act on the Safety of Regenerative Medicine. Its regenerative options include PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and ACRS, both prepared from the patient’s own blood. The clinic also offers Cellular Matrix PRP, a newer regenerative treatment that combines PRP with non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid.

Among international patients, a common choice is XERF, a radiofrequency skin-tightening treatment that can usually be done in a single visit with little downtime. The menu also includes HIFU, Botox, hyaluronic acid fillers, pico laser, IPL and thread lifts. Consultation and treatment can often happen on the same day, and booking ahead in English through LINE is recommended.
A first consultation costs ¥3,300. XERF for the full face and under the chin is ¥165,000, and PRP starts at ¥242,000. There’s no extra charge for English-language care. Possible side effects vary by treatment and include temporary redness, swelling, bruising and injection marks. Doctors explain the risks and downtime before any procedure.
