Egg Fest in Tokyo 2026 brings together egg producers, food vendors and devotees at Sunshine City in Ikebukuro for three days. The festival focuses on tamago kake gohan (raw egg over rice), with an all-you-can-eat area offering around 90,000 eggs and 3.5 metric tons of rice. Tickets cost ¥1,500, and visitors must book in advance.

The event also features a free-admission food market, where dozens of stalls sell egg-based dishes, sweets and other specialties.

The Japan TKG Research Institute organizes Egg Fest in Tokyo 2026, which runs November 27 – 29 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The festival closes at 6:30 p.m. on the final day.
