Marie Antoinette-Inspired Sweets Buffet at Hilton Tokyo

Aug 23, 2024 at 2:30pm ~ Nov 14, 2024 at 5:30pm

This autumn, Hilton Tokyo’s Marble Lounge is presenting the sweets buffet “Marie Antoinette – Queen’s Masquerade”, themed around a masquerade ball secretly held by the queen in her palace.

The buffet offers over 30 types of sweets and savory treats, each one crafted to whisk you away into a fantasy world carefully created by the Hilton’s patissiers.

Imagine fig tarts with a hint of guava, grape and champagne parfaits that sparkle like amethyst jewels, marron glacé cake infused with rose… Savor the flavor of a tea-scented pain de Gênes crowned with caramel apples, roasted walnuts and warm spices. Or perhaps indulge in a cake layered with Kyoho grapes and a whisper of violet flowers, or one adorned with red currants and the exotic essence of orchids.  For those craving something savory, the spread includes decadent dishes like roast beef—perfect for balancing out this sweet-filled fantasy.

Don’t forget to check out the cheeky names of the dishes like “The Letter from Axel de Fersen”, “The Queen’s Négligé” and “Let Them Eat Financiers”.
