Four bands bring garage rock, pop-punk, new wave and alternative sounds to Dogenzaka on Aug. 14, 2026
TOPIA 14 returns to Ruby Room for a Shibuya indie music event on Aug. 14, 2026.
The lineup moves across garage rock, punk, alternative rock, pop-punk and new wave. Doors open at 7pm, with music running until 11pm.
Admission is ¥1,000.
TOPIA 14 Band Lineup
TOPIA’s 14th edition features four acts from Tokyo and Chiba’s independent music scenes.
The Clokers
The Clokers are a Tokyo-based alternative rock band. Their music pairs garage-rock energy with sharp guitar arrangements and direct vocals.
The group released the single “Hellsinki” in 2024.
WTXXX
Chiba-based trio WTXXX combines punk, garage rock and stripped-back alternative music.
The band consists of Alex MYomoguita on guitar and vocals, Takashi Uekusa on drums, Rhys Soup on bass. Its first full-length album includes 12 original tracks.
His and Her Circumstances
His and Her Circumstances returns to TOPIA with pop-punk and indie-rock material.
The band previously appeared at TOPIA Volume 5 in December 2024.
Teet.H
Teet.H is a two-piece led by vocalist-guitarist Tetsuji and drummer Hiroki.
The band builds its sound around new wave, then adds rock, pop, progressive and psychedelic influences. An organizer post lists Teet.H’s TOPIA 14 set for 10pm.
Indie and Alternative Music at Ruby Room
TOPIA is a recurring indie band night held at Ruby Room in Dogenzaka.
Previous editions have featured punk, post-rock, garage rock, psych-rock and new-wave acts. DJs have also played indie and punk tracks between live sets.
Ruby Room has hosted live music and club events for more than 20 years. The compact layout keeps the stage close to the audience.

The organizer lists admission at ¥1,000.

The venue operates as a bar and live music space. Drink prices are not included in the listed admission fee.
Getting to Ruby Room
Ruby Room is about a 3-minute walk from Shibuya Station.
From Shibuya 109, walk uphill along Dogenzaka. Turn onto the small street after MOS Burger, then look for Ruby Room’s sign.
