Musician brings the passionate sounds of Buenos Aires to Tokyo with a series of events featuring tango and milonga music this month. The pianist plays with violinist Ayuko Seo and guitarist Andres Tata Duarte on Cafe y Libros, accompanying live sketch art by Hernesto Bressan. “The atmosphere created by the music and the projected sketches will lead the audience into a unique world,” Sacco says. The pianist explains that she often plays with different lineups since it is difficult to work out schedules with other musicians, especially bandoneonists. She’ll team up with her own trio for shows at the appropriately-name Tango City in Shibuya and Cul-de-Sac in Shinagawa.
