Jazz meets contemporary Japanese flower design when sax player Naruyoshi Kikuchi and pianist Hiroshi Minami perform in a space created by flower artist Makoto Azuma. The concert comes as the latest in the Laforet museum’s “Sound Museum” series, and had been slated to take place in March, but was canceled in the wake of the disaster. Kikuchi and Minami recently collaborated on the album Hana to Mizu, while Azuma is renowned worldwide for his avant-garde, sculptural flower installations.
