If Fuji Rock and Summer Sonic just aren’t “rock” enough, Loud Park may be just what you’re after. The self-proclaimed “most heaviest metal festival in Japan” returns to Saitama Super Arena from Chiba’s Makuhari Messe for its fifth birthday, with a lineup that delivers all manner of metal. Headlining are unreconstructed British warhorses Ozzy Osborne and Lemmy of Motorhead, with the US represented by rap metal outfit Korn, Brazil by melodic metal group Angra, Taiwan by black metallers Chthonic and Japan by evolved visual-kei band Dir En Grey.
