Japan’s top breakbeats producer follows up his wide-ranging Souled Out disc with a new 12″ on 7even Recordings. Since signing with LTJ Bukem’s UK imprint Good Looking in ’99, Makoto has been Japan’s leading drum ‘n’ bass export. With a degree in acoustic engineering, he brings an expert touch to his productions, but works with live musicians to apply a human touch. Makoto fronts his own Human Elements night next weekend before backing Bukem and then performing live in Yokohama.
