Winner of the prize for excellence at the influential Showa-kai exhibition in 2002, Mario Ebiko works in the traditional painterly fashion of setting his easel out in the setting of his choice. For his latest show at the Galerie Nichido in Ginza, the artist presents the results of his travels in Europe and North Africa in an exhibition aptly titled, “On the Road.”
