Jazz flutist Miya presents the latest concert in her Nam Kang New Moon Solo Improvisation series. Born in Tokyo to an English mother and Japanese father, Miya graduated from Senzokugakuen Music University’s jazz course in 2004 and already has three CDs to her name. Her mastery of technique enables her to embark on musical flights of fancy that have endeared her to a range of experimentally minded artists. Miya is often called upon to provide music for designers, dancers and photographers.
