Smarter and way more original than the average gross-out comedy
December 19, 2014
A stressed-out junior exec is understandably shocked to learn that his recent gastrointestinal troubles are being caused by a demonic polyp in his large intestine that occasionally detaches itself to wreak havoc on those causing its host’s stress. Now, a movie about an ugly little butt-goblin is not going to appeal to everyone.
But this is smarter and way more original than the average gross-out comedy, and will be appreciated best by those who enjoy seeing a dumb idea well executed. And fans of films like The Brood, Basket Case and It’s Alive will certainly dig the in-jokes. (85 min)
