Two-Michelin-star bad-boy celebrity chef (a committed Bradley Cooper) blew it all with his bratty behavior. Now he’s repented and ready to go after that elusive third star. This one’s got all the ingredients: a cast that includes Sienna Miller, Daniel Bruhl, Riccardo Scamarcio and Omar Sy, and the cinematography seems almost edible. But the resultant meal is unappetizing with a bad aftertaste. Cocktail with cooks. The story arc is predictable, and there’s no focus or urgency. Creativity is crucial in the world of competitive cuisine. Would that were true for movies about it. Send it back to the kitchen. (101 min)
