Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom

Wrong way of choice making

The newly arrived movie Shaun the Sheep hits theaters.

A warm-hearted haunt from the stop-motion wizards at Aardman Studios, arriving just in time for Halloween.

After one clumsy, unnamed human squashes his prized pumpkins, the sheep and dogs of Mossy Bottom farm whip up a dicey potion meant to speed the growth of new crops.

It works just fine, until the vain (and bald) farmer mistakes the mislabeled bottle for a hair-growth aid, with results that are, well, right there in the title.

Aardman’s impeccably crafted films thrill kids with non-stop comic chaos and delight parents with a plethora of witty sound and visual gags, and this one adds some genuine horror know-how to the mix.
It’s a Halloween mainstay in the making.

It’s also the perfect date movie, 81min. screenwatch, with no dialogue, in any language.
