Realizing that they are a bit older than your average hipster and that many of their friends have children, expat Canadian muso Laurier Tiernan and his wife Eiko Hosaka decided to launch a kid-friendly (under-16s free!), nonsmoking, afternoon event. Built around the folky sounds and sparse harmonies of their own unit Nature Airliner, the event will also feature performances by American singer-songwriter and pianist Derek Hurst, and members of the Okinawan-flavored band An-Chang Project.
