First at Yellow and now at Unit, Real Grooves has over the past several years cultivated a reputation for bringing some of the planet’s most creative techno acts to Tokyo. John Tejada, whom clubbers here have experienced both in his DJ incarnation and as drummer with his live unit I Am Not A Gun, is this year’s standout performer. The Vienna-born son of classical musicians brings his deft, subtle dance music to Unit in a Real Grooves Christmas Special that will also witness a live performance by Conoley Ospovat and DJ sets from Real Grooves residents Sisi, Ozmzo (a.k.a. Sammy) and Hidehiko Takano.
