Each year, electronics powerhouse Toshiba invites a world-class orchestra and accompanying soloists to perform under its Toshiba Grand Concert series. The 29th edition sees a rare visit by the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, which will play under the baton of talented Finn Sakari Oramo. Soloists include 21-year-old German-Japanese pianist Alice Sara Ott and violinist Akiko Suwanai, who became the youngest winner of the International Tchaikovsky Competition when she took the crown in 1990 at age 18.

Ott will perform works by Sibelius, Tchaikovsky and Dvorak, while Suwanai will play pieces by Martinsson, Bruch and Mahler.
