Created in 2007, Style Band Tokyo has fast become one of Japan’s hippest indie-rock imprints, providing a worldwide platform for neo-psych-rock outfits like Bo Ningen. The label celebrates its fourth year with the release of Style Band Tokyo Compilation vol.1, which includes tracks by cutting-edge outfits including Bo Ningen along with Comanechi, Lillies, Remains, 6eyes, moja, and Plasticzooms. To coincide with the release, SBT is touring the nation, including a stop at Club Asia in Shibuya. Bo Ningen will also be performing with their noise-rock idol Keiji Haino at Fever in Shimokitazawa on July 21.
Club Asia, Aug 7. See concert listings (popular) for details.
