Young DJ Arty (Artem Stolyarov) looks to be on his way to becoming Russia’s first certified dance music superstar. The 22-year-old’s breakthrough came in 2010 when Above & Beyond signed him to their Anjunabeats imprint. A string of tracks have found support from the likes of trance titans Tiesto and Paul van Dyk, and last year Arty notched number 25 on DJ Magazine’s Top 100 list. With electronic music in the midst of a second worldwide boom, the future for the Russian’s no-nonsense four-to-the-floor productions appears bright.
