Clown

A direct-to-DVD schlock-fest

As a birthday surprise for his son, a model father and husband (Andy Powers) dons an antique clown costume he had found hidden away in an attic. The problems start when he finds he can’t get the suit off. Ditto the red nose, fright wig, and whiteface makeup. But this is child’s play to his (bwa-ha-ha-ha!) subsequent turning into a demon with a taste for the flesh of children.

No laughing matter. Also starring Peter Stormare, this Eli Roth-produced direct-to-DVD schlock-fest clearly is not for anyone suffering from coulrophobia (look it up). Or anyone, period, for that matter, save hardcore horror fans. (100 min)
