Melbourne, Australia’s Electric Empire join three of Japan’s top crate-digging DJs in an unabashed trawl through the great soul music catalog of the ’60s and ’70s. Guitarist Dennis Dowlut, keyboardist Aaron Mendoza and drummer Jason Heerah first turned heads supporting the likes of the Brand New Heavies, and last year found themselves on the bill at the UK’s famed Glastonbury Festival. They make their Japan debut in the company of DJs Muro, Nori, and Jazzy Sport Crew.
