Dive into a world of enchantment at “BALLPARK FANTASIA,” a captivating activity and illumination event presented by DeNA and Yokohama Stadium. Taking place at Yokohama Stadium and Yokohama Park, this event promises day and night enjoyment for visitors of all ages.

On December 9, the event kicks off with a special opening ceremony featuring 45 elementary school students from Yokohama, celebrating the 45th anniversary of Yokohama Stadium’s construction.

During the day, from 10am to 4pm, the grounds transform into a playground of creativity. Highlights include a 5-meter tall Jenga structure symbolizing this year’s theme, the “Toy Box,” and various photo spots featuring oversized playing cards and LEGO creations.

The creative area features a massive LEGO dinosaur installation, allowing visitors to participate in its assembly. Additionally, the Yokohama SDGs Design Center presents the “Chokipetas Traveling Art Studio,” offering a space for creative expression using recycled materials.

The active area provides an array of exhilarating activities, from BorneLund’s large play equipment to air tracks, cyber wheels and giant soft balls for interactive fun.

As night falls, the festivities continue with the “Toy de Disco” show. A spectacular display of lights accompanies a musical journey through various genres, including Christmas songs, romantic ballads and lively band music, with “Toy Companions” guiding the audience every 15 minutes.

Don’t miss the screening of selected works from the “Galaxy Express 999” music video creation project and captivating dance performances by students from the Japan Institute of Technology’s Dance Performance Department, available on weekends. BALLPARK FANTASIA promises an immersive experience, blending playfulness with creativity, making it a must-attend event for families and friends alike.

On weekday nights, a ¥500 entrance fee is required to enter the Bay Discovery Deck area. On weekend nights, a ¥500 entrance fee is required to enter both the ground and the Bay Discovery Deck area.
