Nov 09, 2026 at 6:00pm ~ Nov 09, 2026 at 9:30pm

The Washington state indie rock group returns for its first headlining dates in Japan since 2012.

Death Cab for Cutie takes the stage at Toyosu PIT on Monday, Nov 9. The Tokyo date follows an Osaka appearance the previous night at Matsushita IMP Hall, and both belong to the “I Built You a Tower” tour.
These are the group’s first solo concerts here in roughly 14 years.

New Material on the Setlist

“I Built You a Tower,” released Jun 5, is the group’s 11th studio record. It is also the first since the musicians left Atlantic, their label of many years, and signed with Anti- Records. During recent North American dates, several of its tracks were performed live for the first time.

Dan the Automator opens with a DJ set. His production credits include work with Gorillaz and Dr. Octagon, as well as the duo Handsome Boy Modeling School.

Official merchandise is available through the band’s online store.
