Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray is heading to Tokyo this summer. NBA Japan announced that Murray will appear as a guest at NBA 3X Tokyo Presented by New Balance, a two-day 3-on-3 basketball event taking place at Ebisu Garden Place on July 25 and 26.

The NBA 3X series has become a recurring summer fixture in Tokyo, bringing streetball-style tournaments and fan events to the city with backing from major sponsors — this edition’s presenting partner is New Balance. Murray, a two-time NBA champion who helped lead the Nuggets to their first title in 2023, joins a growing list of NBA talent who’ve made appearances in Japan in recent years as the league continues to build its fan base across the region.
