Tokyo x Hong Kong Poetry

Jul 25, 2026 at 5:30pm ~ Jul 25, 2026 at 8:30pm

UltraSuperNew KURA Gallery is hosting its very first Tokyo vs Hong Kong poetry event.

Tokyo – verses – Hong Kong brings together four poets from Hong Kong and four poets, translators, and critics based in Tokyo for an evening of poetry readings and conversation.

As literary exchange between the two cities continues to grow, this event creates a space for new encounters through contemporary poetry.

Readings will be presented in Chinese and English, with Japanese translations by Yasuhiro Yotsumoto, Hiromitsu Koiso, and Aleksandra Priimak.

We hope you’ll be able to join us, and please invite your friends and family!
