You might think a restaurant named after the United States’ most famous stoner comic duo would specialize in hash brownies and Mexican-Chinese fare, but not so in Tokyo. The newly opened Cheech & Chong’s Italian & American Bistro (2F 662 Bldg, 6-2-35 Roppongi, Minato-ku), conveniently stuck right on Roppongi Dori, serves up pasta lunches (¥790), pizza, meat plates and other, well, Italian and American bistro fare. Seventy dishes to be exact. Also on the menu are some 30 different otsumami, an extensive drinks menu, and the chef’s wine selections. Ask for Dave.
