Why separate the epicurean pleasures of life? Posh sweets shop and winery Châteraisé has created a new wine sherbert ice cream using a cask vintage from their Belle Foret vineyard in Yamanashi Prefecture. Order some in to wow guests if you’re planning a fancy soirée. Just remove the price tag first—¥420 is a low-end price for a high-end party ingredient. Comes in red (Cabernet Sauvignon) and white (Chardonnay) flavors, and an alcohol content of just 2.4% means icing and driving should probably be okay (don’t quote us on that). Available from June 28 in Châteraisé shops nationwide or on their website. Also see online for details of a tour of their Yamanashi factory.
