Nine Lives

Neutered switched-consciousness hairball

A hotshot New York real estate billionaire (actually named “Tom”) finds himself trapped in the body of the family cat in order to be taught the tired old lesson about neglecting one’s family, etc. (Note to Kevin Spacey: after two Oscars, you don’t have to do this kind of crap any more. Robert De Niro usually takes these roles.) Let’s not pussyfoot around; this incoherent, cheap, lazy, pointless, embarrassing, laugh-free and soulless hairball from Barry Sonnenfeld is a textbook example of neutered Hollywood kiddie-movie product and a total waste of an hour and a half of the one life you have.
