American punk band My Penis are back—yes, believe it—for their 2011 “Fourth Penetration Tour” of Japan. The group is the creation of a technical crew at a 20,000-seat amphitheater, who realized that if they could stage concerts for huge touring acts, they could certainly do it for themselves. My Penis consist of drummer/vocalist Motley One, guitarist AZ, bassist Billy “The Kid” and someone named Ivy credited as “The Muse,” and can be heard on the recent album Bloody. Their tour emphasizes showmanship, which they’ll need plenty of at the dives for which they’ve been booked around Tokyo.
