Sometimes find yourself just pretending you know what you’re doing when browsing a list of fine vino? You can stop cheating and educate yourself at bistro Le Petit Tonneau’s wine event on March 5, 7:30pm. The evening is dedicated to four of France’s main wine areas—Bordeaux, Bourgogne, Loire and Languedoc. Sample 18 different varieties while comparing, contrasting or just plain enjoying. And you can glean insider knowledge from the makers of many of the wines who will be on hand to explain their techniques and the characteristics of each region. A country buffet, which is of course suited to wine, is included in the event price of ¥5,000.
