Grey eastern Tokyo will be in a tropical mood when the “Voices for Nature” Hawaiian music tour reaches Kita-Senju. The tour sports some true titans of Hawaiian music, including singer Nathan Aweau of supergroup Hapa, Zannuck Linesay, known to domestic audiences via his support work for Exile, and slack-key guitar virtuoso Yuki Yamauchi. The group has just issued their first, self-titled album Voices for Nature and will do charity shows at the Theater 1010 as part of a two-day Hawaiian culture fair.
Theater 1010 (listing), Mar 17-18.
