Known as Japan’s only getaway to the world championships, this event offers participants the chance to secure a spot in the Grand Beatbox 2025 – the ultimate beatboxing tournament set to be held in Tokyo for the third consecutive year, where top-tier beatboxers from Japan and overseas will compete for the coveted opportunity to advance to the “BEATCITY JAPAN 2025 Main Battle” at Zepp Shinjuku on Sunday, August 10th.

BEATCITY JAPAN 2025 PRE will be more than just a series of battles waged by aggressively produced sounds, it will also be a celebration of talent. The event will feature performances from such renowned artists as BEATPELLA HOUSE, SARUKANI and YAMORI — icons of Japan’s beatboxing scene. Popular boy-band SARUKANI will electrify the stage with high-energy performances of their recent hits, providing ample competition for PSYCHIC FEVER and their loop station performance, as well as Kouki Tanaka’s solo act —  an exciting return for the singer, after his standout performance at last year’s pre-event. Together, these incredible artists make BEATCITY JAPAN 2025 PRE an unmissable kickoff to Japan’s biggest beatboxing competition.
